Upcoming Events

Empowered Women’s Conferences are an opportunity for women from across the Central Canada District to join together and allow God to minister to our hearts through times of teaching and anointed worship. We believe that God is going to minister to hearts in a unique way at Empowered 2019 and hope that you are able to be a part of that. Come join us!

Natasha is an anointed pastor, worship leader, writer, and sincere woman of God who has ministered across Atlantic Canada and into the States.  Natasha is a passionate wife and mother who loves organic meat, green tea, gardening, and the occasional action movie.  She lives in the balance of being both sweet in personality and strong in her convictions.  She’s inspired by her daughters, surrounding aesthetic beauty, a deep heart connection with close friends, and the everyday moments to sit or abide in the Lord’s presence.  She has developed a unique writing style that poetically weaves her love for Scripture into the deep stories of her soul searching.  Her desire for holistic living and empathetic heart for the downcast will stir your heart to want something more.

Natasha’s life, along with the lives of her two beautiful daughters, Roya (8) & Alea (6), took an unexpected turn when their husband/dad, Lynn Robert Erskine, unexpectedly passed away in September 2012.  Her blog over the following two years,  abideinmylove.blogspot.ca, walked many others through their own grieving, as she spoke openly about her intense life struggle with a God that would never let her go.  In October 2014, she remarried the enthusiastic Rev. Brent Dongell who teaches and trains pastors at Southern Wesleyan University in Central, South Carolina.  Natasha (and their daughters) await permission to cross the border as their immigration process into the States moves forward.

Brent and Natasha’s new life together is both redemptive and inspirational, and continues to speak of God’s relentless love, (natashadongell.wordpress.com).  You will be blessed to experience firsthand how her life’s testimony, true talent, and genuine beauty have yet to be fully realized as she ministers and still has so much to bring to the Body of Christ both locally and around the world.”

In her own words, Melina says, “I believe that combining the power of music with the spirit of God can make for a life-altering experience. That is what I desire and want to offer to our world.” We are so excited that Melina is coming back to share her gift with us and to lead us in true and genuine worship.

This year’s Workshops will be held on Saturday.  The Workshops will have two parts…. one part before lunch and the other after lunch.  Participants will choose ONE Workshop and attend both parts of the same Workshop.  Selections are made on the registration form.

WORKSHOP OPTION A – “Let’s Talk Money” with Rebecca van Noppen

Whether you know it or not, our troubles with money don’t have a lot to do with the coins, bills and credit cards we carry in our wallets. In the first part of Rebecca’s workshop, we will dig in to some of the heart issues around money, like what motivates us, why we might be spending more than we make, and why we need renewed thinking around this whole topic.

In the second half, Rebecca will present practical tips to help you live a life of financial freedom and empowerment. She will present some steps in how to start paying down debt, and how to persevere through the process.

Rebecca is a teacher, communicator, writer, and mother of five. She works alongside her husband David van Noppen at More Than Enough Financial Fitness.  She has created a 10-session workshop series for More Than Enough Financial coaching clients called Unleashed – a series that links money, God and our hearts. She believes that growing in relationship and friendship with God is the key to debt-free living. She wants people to discover for themselves that God is their “More Than Enough”.

WORKSHOP OPTION B – “Mission Minded in a ME World” with Tanya Nace

Our world is full of social and media pressure to look the best, be the best and have the best.  But what about God’s best for our lives?  In this workshop, we will explore some lies that we are told by the world and replace them with truth from Scripture.

We will hear testimonies of women who have walked this journey, encouragement from Scripture on how to make changes, and ideas on ways to be missions minded in a world that pushes us to think only of ourselves. If you desire a purpose beyond yourself, this workshop is for you!

Rev. Tanya Renea Nace is an organizational leader with a background in non-profit recruitment. At World Hope, Tanya was elected Executive Director by the Board of Directors in December 2017.
