Meet the Co-Directors of Women’s Ministry for the Central Canada District of The Wesleyan Church… Kim Holland and Lynette (Nettie) Rooney.
Kim is a mother of five children, who spends her days homeschooling and being the manager of the Holland household. She has been married to Shaun for 18 years and they and their family attend Cornerstone Wesleyan Church in North Gower where they also live. She loves being a part of ministries that stretch outside church walls and especially enjoys opening up their home for fellowship. She is passionate about women’s ministry and is excited about this new door God has opened for the sole purpose of encouraging and equipping women to go back to their local churches and communities to love and serve.
Nettie lives a happy country life with her husband and three teenage children. The Rooney family attends Southgate Community Church in Kemptville where Nettie has volunteered in a variety of roles. The Rooneys are leaseholders at Silver Lake Wesleyan Camp where Nettie serves as the Guest Services Director. She graduated from Eastern Pentecostal Bible College with a Diploma in Pastoral Ministries and has been involved in a wide range of ministries over the past several years. Nettie has a zeal for women’s ministry and seeing women connect and grow in their faith.
